LONGEVITY launches online contest to win free assessment
Cold laser therapy added to assessment package

LONGEVITY Performance Center, Naples’ newest health|fitness|wellness facility, has launched an online contest July 1 designed to award one entrant a free assessment package, with a minimum value of $500. An assessment is required for all LPC memberships. The package includes DNA testing and genetic analysis for fitness and for nutrition; establishment of baseline blood biomarkers to chart the member’s health progress; an optional computer-based cognitive assessment; an initial counseling session with staff to create a personalized fitness and nutrition plan; up to six (6) complimentary cold laser therapy sessions, if prescribed; and a stainless steel logoed water bottle.

Cold laser therapy is the newest addition to the services that will be available at LONGEVITY. Cold laser therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy, is a non-surgical treatment in which non-thermal light photons are applied to the body, passing through the skin layers to tissue of the affected area to treat and accelerate the healing process. The procedure helps with relief from pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms, and it improves range of movement. Lasting on average 5 – 10 minutes each, cold laser treatments run anywhere from $30 – $200 a piece, making the cold laser therapy sessions a valuable addition to the LPC assessment package.

The contest will begin on July 1 and run through July 31, 2018. There is no cost to enter, and no purchase is necessary. Entrants will upload a photo of themselves and write a short paragraph of 100 words or less on why they want to join LONGEVITY Performance Center. Each online entry will receive its own URL, which entrants can share with family and friends. Visitors to the website at www.longevityperformancecenter.com will be able to vote on their favorite entries, one vote per day. The winner will be chosen by an executive committee and will be based on a combination of the essay quality and popular vote. Additional rules apply, and entrants will be required to agree to abide by the contest conditions and regulations, all of which are posted online, before they can upload their entry.
